Fast Protocol is one of the first “make Ethereum feel instant” plays that regular users can actually try today. We claimed the Fast Genesis SBT (a Soulbound Token, meaning a non-transferable NFT badge) and started routing swaps through Fast RPC to stack Fast Miles. This guide shows the exact setup, what it costs, what’s risky, and how we’d farm it without going broke on mainnet gas.

This airdrop guide was reviewed by the AirdropBuzz research team, who have completed dozens of Solana and DeFi airdrops.

Fast Protocol Airdrop: Claim Genesis SBT + Farm Fast Miles With Fast RPC

Step-by-Step Carousel

Swipe through steps quickly: Step 1, Step 2, Step 3 and more.

Step 1
Open the official Genesis SBT claim page.
Go to fastprotocol.io/claim and connect your wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, etc.).
Step 2
Mint the Fast Genesis SBT.
The SBT is your “I was early” badge. Expect normal Ethereum gas (varies by network traffic).
Step 3
Open the Fast dashboard and check your tasks / points view.
This is where one-time tasks, referrals, and your running totals usually show up. (UI can change, so follow what the app prompts you to do.)
Step 4
Add Fast RPC (Ethereum Mainnet) to your wallet.
Fast RPC is a drop-in RPC endpoint for Ethereum mainnet. The official endpoint shown in Primev docs is:
https://fastrpc.mev-commit.xyz
Network: Ethereum Mainnet • Chain ID: 1 • Currency: ETH • Explorer: etherscan.io.
Step 5
Top up your Fast RPC “gas tank” (if required by your flow).
Fast RPC uses a prefunded balance to cover bids for preconfirmations. Primev’s wallet setup instructions mention topping up by sending ETH to a published address, but always verify the latest doc before you send anything.
Step 6
Start earning: route real swaps through Fast RPC.
The docs describe Fast Miles as being earned based on the MEV your swaps generate through Fast Protocol, plus bonuses from one-time tasks and referrals. Use small sizes, avoid “random” tokens, and keep slippage tight.
Step 7
Keep it consistent (but cheap).
We’d rather do 1–3 small swaps per week than 20 swaps in one day. Consistency usually beats spam, and your wallet will thank you.
Network: Ethereum Mainnet
Status: Genesis SBT live; “Season 1 is coming soon”
Reward type: Fast Points / Fast Miles (token details TBA)
Main actions: Mint Genesis SBT → Use Fast RPC → Swap to earn Miles
Costs: Ethereum gas + Fast RPC “gas tank” top-up
Best for: People who already swap on Ethereum mainnet

Our verdict Do this if… Skip this if… Effort level The AirdropBuzz Team take
Worth a try (selectively) You already use Ethereum mainnet and can do small swaps weekly. You hate mainnet fees or you’ll force trades just for points. Low setup, then medium ongoing. Genesis SBT is the easy “proof you were early.” The real grind is routing real activity through Fast RPC without overspending on gas and slippage.
Category Score (1–10) Why we scored it that way
Setup difficulty 4 Mint SBT is simple. Fast RPC is “easy,” but the gas tank concept confuses people at first.
Cost control 6 You can keep swaps tiny, but Ethereum fees and approvals can spike.
Time required 6 10–25 minutes to set up, then you’ll want steady weekly activity.
Safety 7 Main risk is permissions (token approvals) + using the wrong RPC or fake links.
Airdrop clarity 5 Fast Miles/Points exist, but token/TGE/allocations are still TBA.
“Edge” potential 7 Programs like this often reward real usage over one-time clicks—if you can do it cheaply.

What is Fast Protocol?

Fast Protocol is an Ethereum mainnet transaction “preconfirmation” system that uses Fast RPC to give you near-instant feedback that your transaction should land in an upcoming block. A “preconfirmation” is basically a fast promise before full block confirmation, so Ethereum feels less like waiting in a slow line. Fast RPC is a custom RPC (RPC = the “gateway” your wallet uses to talk to Ethereum) that routes your transactions through mev-commit instead of the public mempool. MEV (Maximal Extractable Value) is the extra profit validators/builders can make by re-ordering transactions; Fast Protocol’s whole pitch is better execution and an incentive system that can share value back with users via points/miles programs. Fast’s public pages show a live Genesis SBT claim and a points ecosystem that “carries into mainnet,” plus ongoing activity tracking like transactions and swap volume.

Founder / team check : Fast Protocol is built by Primev, and the lead founder publicly associated with Primev/Fast Protocol is Murat Akdeniz. His X bio states he is Founder at Primev and references Fast Protocol, and he is listed as Founder (Primev) on ETHDenver’s official speaker page.

Our Experience Joining Fast Protocol

We did the same flow most users will do:

  • Claimed the Genesis SBT (a Soulbound Token badge). The mint itself is straightforward, but it’s on Ethereum mainnet, so gas can be annoying at busy times.
  • Switched to Fast RPC and learned the one “gotcha”: Fast RPC uses a gas tank (think “prepaid balance”) to pay for the preconfirmation bidding process. That’s separate from the normal idea of “gas.”
  • Did small swaps with the mindset of “earn Miles without donating money to fees.” If you already swap on mainnet, this feels like rerouting what you already do.

Time vs Reward: Is Fast Miles Worth It?

Fast Miles (and/or Fast Points) are the “score” you’re stacking right now. The docs also say Miles are planned to be tokenized later, but token details are still TBA—so treat this like a points grind, not guaranteed money.

fast-protocol-dashboard.webp
Dashboard - Fast Protocol

Our realistic grind test (what we’d do):

  • Day 1 (10–25 minutes): mint Genesis SBT + add Fast RPC + do 1 tiny swap to confirm everything tracks.
  • Weekly (10 minutes): 1–3 small swaps routed through Fast RPC (only if you already planned to trade).
  • Optional: invite a few friends who genuinely want it (don’t spam—referrals are not worth getting muted everywhere).
Plan Time Cost control idea Who it fits
Minimum 15–30 min total Mint + 1 swap; stop. You just want “early” proof (SBT) and a baseline score.
Balanced 10 min/week Tiny swaps; watch gas; avoid extra approvals. Most farmers who want steady Miles without overspending.
Aggressive 30+ min/week More swaps = more fees; only makes sense if you already trade often. Active mainnet DeFi users who can handle costs.

Risks & Things to Watch

  • Mainnet fees can eat you alive. If you’re forcing swaps “for points,” you can lose more in gas/slippage than any future reward.
  • Permit2 / token approvals. An approval is “letting an app spend your tokens.” FastSwaps-style flows can involve approvals (sometimes via Permit2). Only approve what you need, and revoke approvals you don’t use.
  • Fast RPC gas tank confusion. Fast RPC can require depositing ETH into a balance used for bids. Always check the latest official instructions before sending funds.
  • No guaranteed airdrop. Points and Miles exist, but token launch details, snapshots, and allocations are still TBA. DYOR (Do Your Own Research).

Fast Protocol FAQ

Is the Fast Protocol airdrop confirmed?

Fast has a live Genesis SBT and a Points/Miles system, but official token details (name, TGE date, allocation, snapshot rules) are still TBA. Treat it like a points program until Fast publishes final airdrop rules.

What chain is Fast Protocol on?

The user campaign (Genesis SBT + Fast RPC routing) is on Ethereum Mainnet. You’ll need ETH for gas and (depending on your setup) a Fast RPC “gas tank” top-up.

What are Fast Miles?

Fast Miles are points you earn by routing eligible swaps through Fast Protocol (using Fast RPC). Think of Miles like “score in a game” for now. The docs say Miles are planned to be tokenized later, but the details are TBA.

Do I need to run a node to use Fast RPC?

No. For most users, “running Fast RPC” just means adding their RPC endpoint to your wallet and sending transactions through it (like switching from Infura/Alchemy to a different RPC).

What’s the safest way to farm Fast Miles?

Only do swaps you would’ve done anyway, keep sizes small, avoid sketchy tokens, and watch your approvals (permissions). If mainnet gas is high, wait—forcing activity during expensive blocks is how people lose money farming points.
