1. Data We Collect

  • Contact Info: Name and email when you create an account, use our contact form, subscribe to the newsletter, or request support.
  • User Content: Information included in comments, ratings, Insight likes and shares, airdrop or article submissions, correction suggestions, and support requests.
  • Account Data: Login identifiers, display name, saved items, dashboard actions, watchlists, referral activity, engagement history, and preferences connected to your account.
  • Developer Requests: Contact details, project descriptions, requested endpoints, expected usage, and attribution commitments provided when requesting API or MCP access.
  • Tool Inputs: Public project URLs or domains submitted to tools such as the AI Airdrop Risk Checker. Do not submit seed phrases, private keys, wallet passwords, or other secrets.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage Data: Pages visited, time spent, search terms, and referring links.
  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, session metadata, API or MCP request metadata, rate-limit counters, and basic security logs used to protect the Service.

2. Accounts, Dashboard & Saved Items

If you register or sign in, we may process your email address, display name, session identifiers, saved airdrops, saved articles, saved news, saved events, token watchlist entries, BUZZ activity information, referral-code activity, comments, ratings, Insight likes or shares, and dashboard actions. We use this data to provide account features, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and improve the Service.

3. Blockchain & Wallet Data

Important for Crypto Users: If you interact with our site using a Web3 wallet (e.g., MetaMask, Phantom) or submit wallet addresses for eligibility checks:

  • Public Data: We may process your public wallet address. We treat this as public information available on the blockchain.
  • No Private Keys: We never have access to, nor do we store, your private keys or seed phrases.
  • On-Chain Activity: Please be aware that blockchain transactions are immutable and public. We cannot "delete" data that is written to a blockchain.
  • Voluntary Tips: Tips sent to a displayed AirdropBuzz wallet occur directly on the selected blockchain. We do not control the public ledger or automatically know the identity behind a sending address.

4. AI Airdrop Risk Checker Data

Registered users can submit public airdrop or project URLs to the AI Airdrop Risk Checker. For successful scans, we may store the scanned URL, normalized URL, normalized domain, risk score, risk level, summary, red flags, positive signals, safety checklist, recommendation, disclaimer, AI response, result source, share token, timestamp, IP address, and user agent.

  • Failed AI calls generally are not saved as successful scans and are not intended to consume a daily scan credit.
  • Public AI risk report pages show only safe report data such as domain, score, level, summary, red flags, positives, checklist, recommendation, disclaimer, and date.
  • Public reports do not expose your user ID, email, IP address, user agent, or internal cache identifiers.
  • AI outputs are heuristic and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Always verify official links independently.

5. Developer API, MCP & Automated Distribution

Approved developers may receive a named API key or MCP credential. We may retain the developer or project name, access status, requested use, creation date, and security or rate-limit logs needed to operate and revoke that credential. Credentials must not be submitted through public forms, committed to source control, or shared with unauthorized users.

AirdropBuzz also distributes selected public content through services such as Binance Square, Pinterest, Hey/Lens, Nostr, search indexes, feeds, and other social or discovery channels. These workflows publish AirdropBuzz content and public links; they are not intended to export private account details, private comments, email addresses, or watchlists.

6. How We Use Data

  • To operate and maintain the website.
  • To provide login, dashboard, watchlist, comment, rating, and AI risk scan features.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, spam, phishing, and API abuse.
  • To analyze traffic patterns so we can improve research, navigation, and performance.
  • To send newsletters or service messages when you opt in or when required for account/security purposes.
  • To enforce daily limits and protect site reliability.
  • To provision, monitor, rate-limit, audit, and revoke developer API or MCP access.
  • To publish and measure public AirdropBuzz content distributed through approved external channels.

  • Authentication and Distribution Providers: Login providers may process authentication data you choose to provide. Social, search, and publishing platforms may receive public article text, images, tags, and canonical links when we distribute AirdropBuzz content.
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law enforcement or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

9. Data Retention

We keep account, dashboard, engagement, security, comment, rating, scan, developer-access, and request-log data for as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain abuse protection, preserve public report integrity, comply with legal obligations, and improve site reliability. Public blockchain data cannot be deleted by AirdropBuzz because it is maintained by independent blockchain networks.

10. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate account information.
  • Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data, subject to legal, security, and public-report integrity requirements.
