PRED Airdrop: How to Join the Waitlist and Boost Eligibility

PRED is building a peer-to-peer sports outcome trading exchange on Base (an Ethereum “Layer 2,” meaning faster and cheaper transactions). It’s invite-only right now, and spots look limited. There is no confirmed airdrop yet, but early access + real usage is often what teams reward later. In this guide, we’ll show what we can do today (waitlist + prep), what to do once invited (trade + stay active), and what risks to watch.
This airdrop guide was reviewed by the AirdropBuzz research team, who have completed dozens of Solana and DeFi airdrops.
I'm Dhiraj Dixit, founder of AirdropBuzz. I personally research and complete airdrops before publishing these guides.

Submit the form and keep any confirmation email or success screen.
This is where invites, access waves, and rule changes usually get posted first.
Use a new wallet you don’t use for long-term savings. This keeps risk contained.
You’ll need a bit of ETH on Base for gas (gas = the small network fee to do onchain actions).
Keep it honest. If it’s meant for serious traders, low-effort apps usually get ignored.
Do a few small trades first. Screenshot key pages. Track date, markets traded, and volume.
If rewards ever happen, steady real usage tends to beat one-day “wash trading” behavior.
Set limits. If you’re tilting (emotion trading), stop. This is still high-risk.
| Our Verdict | Who this is for | Who should skip |
|---|---|---|
| Worth joining the waitlist if you can actually use the app once invited. Airdrop is TBA, so treat this like an “early access” play first. |

|
| Category | Score (10 max) | Why we scored it that way |
|---|---|---|
| Ease of entry | 6/10 | Waitlist is easy, but trading access is invite-only. |
| Cost | 7/10 | Base gas is usually cheap, but real trading needs bankroll. Fees are TBA. |
| Time required | 6/10 | 5–15 minutes to prep + waitlist. Real “eligibility” likely needs ongoing usage once invited. |
| Team transparency | 8/10 | Founders are public and active on LinkedIn/X. |
| Airdrop upside | 5/10 | No token or points system confirmed. This is a speculative farm. |
| Risk level | 4/10 | Regulatory + smart contract + settlement risks. Only use money you can lose. |
What is PRED?
PRED is a peer-to-peer sports outcome trading exchange where users buy and sell positions on match outcomes, with prices set by supply and demand.
Think “stock exchange,” but for sports outcomes. On a sportsbook, you’re usually betting against the house (the company sets the odds and profits when users lose). On an exchange, you trade with other participants, and the platform matches orders.
PRED says it settles trades onchain (meaning results and payouts are enforced by blockchain code, not a single company database) and it’s built on Base. They also market fast execution (sub-second) for live sports trading.
Founder check (public profiles): PRED’s leadership is publicly disclosed. Amit Mahensaria is listed as Co-founder & CEO, alongside co-founders Arpit Nik and Piyush Mahensaria. You can verify this via PRED’s LinkedIn company page and the founders’ LinkedIn/X profiles.
Our Experience Joining PRED
Right now, PRED is invite-only. So the “hands-on” part we can do today is the waitlist flow and basic setup for Base.
- Waitlist friction: Low. It’s a quick form. You can add a referral code link.
- Access reality: You still need an invite to trade. So don’t expect instant markets.
- Prep work: Set up a fresh wallet, add Base, and keep a small amount of ETH on Base for gas.
Time vs Reward: Is PRED token worth it?
Let’s keep it real: a PRED token and any airdrop details are TBA. So the “reward” today is mainly early access to an exchange-style sports product.
Here’s how we’d rate the grind if you’re farming responsibly:
- Minimum grind (10–15 minutes): Join waitlist + prep Base wallet.
- Better grind (30–60 minutes): Also apply to any trader program (like a “Founding” cohort) if it exists in your dashboard/links, and set up clean tracking.
- Real grind (ongoing): Once invited, do small, consistent trades, don’t spam, and keep activity steady over weeks.
| Plan | Time | Typical cost | What you actually do | Who it fits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Waitlist-only | 10–15 min | ~$0 | Sign up, follow official channels, set reminders | Everyone (even cautious users) |
| Invite-ready | 30–60 min | $2–$10 | Wallet + Base setup + small gas buffer | People who want to move fast when invited |
| Active trader | 1–3 hrs/week | Depends on bankroll | Trade outcomes, manage risk, track PnL | Serious sports traders only |
Our take: If you won’t trade once invited, don’t force it. Most “eligibility” models reward real usage, not just a form fill.
Risks & Things to Watch
- Airdrop not confirmed: There may be no token, no points, and no reward. Assume nothing until announced.
- Region + legal risk: Sports outcome trading can be restricted where you live. Don’t try to bypass geo rules.
- Settlement rules: Prediction markets live or die by clear settlement. Only trade markets where rules are clear.
- Smart contract risk: “Onchain” doesn’t mean “risk-free.” Bugs happen.
- Ticker confusion: “PRED” is used by unrelated tokens online (like “Predictcoin”). Don’t ape into random coins because the ticker matches.
- Phishing: Only trust links from the official site and official social accounts. Never share seed phrases.

PRED Airdrop FAQ
Is the PRED airdrop confirmed?
No. As of now, a PRED airdrop is not confirmed. Treat this as a waitlist + early access opportunity until PRED announces anything official.
What chain is PRED on?
PRED is built on Base. Base is an Ethereum Layer 2, which usually means faster transactions and lower fees than Ethereum mainnet.
Do I need to trade to be “eligible” for anything?
Nothing is confirmed. But in many projects, real product usage matters more than just joining a waitlist. If you get invited and you actually plan to trade, small consistent activity is the safer bet.
Is PRED available in the US or other restricted regions?
PRED has stated it’s not available in the US, Singapore, India, or OFAC-sanctioned countries. Always follow local laws and the app’s access rules.
How would claiming work if there is an airdrop later?
TBA. If PRED ever launches rewards, expect an official claim page and clear rules. Never connect your wallet to random “claim” links from DMs.
