• Date joined: Q4 2025, shortly after the Season 1 announcement.
• Starting boost: Sign-up bonus + referral bonus (500 points total) credited almost instantly after opting in.
• First actions: A series of test swaps on Linea and Optimism, one small perps trade, and a bridge into Linea using the in-wallet flow.
• Loyalty bonus: After linking older MetaMask accounts, a chunk of points dropped in for historical swaps/bridges—roughly 250 points per $1,250 of past volume, capped at 50k.

Step-by-Step Guide: How to Join MetaMask Rewards (With Bonus)

1. Install or update MetaMask

   On mobile, grab MetaMask from the official app store (iOS/Android). On desktop, ensure your browser extension is up to date. New users should create a wallet and back up the seed phrase offline; existing users just log in.

2. Open the Rewards tab

7. Start farming points the smart way

   From here, you’re live:

   • Swaps: Use MetaMask’s built-in swap on chains like Linea, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Base and more. You earn roughly 80 points per $100 in volume.
   • Perps: If you trade perpetuals through supported integrations, you’ll roughly get 10 points per $100 traded.
   • Bridging: Use MetaMask’s bridge interface (especially into Linea) to stack both normal points and any chain-specific boosts
   • Referrals: Share your own code with friends; you earn 10 points for every 50 points they generate from swaps/perps across the whole season.

   The key is to route organic activity (trades you’d do anyway) through MetaMask where rates are competitive. Avoid pointless back-and-forth swaps just to inflate volume.

8. Climb levels & time your boosts

   Season 1 uses seven levels—Origin, Frontier, Sylvana, Oceania, Denalia, Titana and Utopia. Levels 2–4 are the most realistic targets for normal users and unlock LINEA allocation, temporary points boosts and perps fee discounts.If you hit Level 3 (Sylvana), consider scheduling your heaviest trading during the 24-hour 50% points boost.
