Checkpoint announced v1.06 on October 16, describing wallet-to-trade improvements, clearer oracle updates and simpler settings. The public application displays v1.06 and a testnet banner. Its October 8 announcement also adds Zerion XP tracking. A tracked third-party points balance is separate from Checkpoint XP and does not establish either project's final token entitlement.
The official settlement docs describe program-wide, pro-rata distribution after an underlying project launches, including pooled USDC from overdue offers. This is settlement architecture, not a claim opening for a Checkpoint token. The older ten-week Galxe campaign below is preserved as historical campaign information; its current NFT inventory and finale availability were not verified. No wallet was connected, test trade submitted or real collateral deposited.

What is Checkpoint Exchange?
Checkpoint Exchange is a decentralized points marketplace that lets users track, analyze, tokenize, buy, and sell points earned across crypto protocols. Instead of waiting for a project to launch a token, users can trade their accrued off-chain points directly through Checkpoint's collateral-backed orderbook.
Built as a 0xPortalLabs initiative, Checkpoint utilizes a universal identifier model based on the ERC-7930 standard. This allows the dashboard to resolve not just EVM (Ethereum) addresses, but also Solana wallets and Farcaster IDs, pulling point data from fragmented ecosystems into one unified view.
To facilitate secure trading, sellers deposit their points and back them with USDC locked in escrow. Buyers fill those offers and receive escrow tokens, which are seamlessly settled cross-chain using LayerZero infrastructure. When the underlying project finally launches its token (TGE), those tokens are distributed pro-rata across the escrow holders.
While core contributors are known publicly as 0xblaze_ and 0xSynth, no traditional CEO or legal founder identity has been explicitly confirmed.
Is the Checkpoint Exchange airdrop confirmed?
No. A Checkpoint Exchange airdrop has not been officially confirmed. The platform currently awards Checkpoint XP for selected testnet actions, and is running a 10-week interactive campaign on Galxe, but XP and NFTs have no promised cash value.

Checkpoint Exchange costs and fees
Basic wallet checks, testnet actions, and Galxe social tasks are expected to cost $0. The platform flow is currently designed to hide gas management from users.
When the platform reaches mainnet, market activity will include protocol rules such as USDC collateral, cancellation fees, and settlement conditions. Collateral is money locked as a safety deposit to ensure the seller actually delivers the underlying tokens at TGE. It is returned when the trade settles correctly, but can be slashed for missed deadlines or shortfalls.
How a Checkpoint Exchange claim may work
