Cycles Pay beta is live, and this is one of those quiet infra plays that early airdrop farmers like to track. Infra means infrastructure, or the “plumbing” that helps crypto apps work behind the scenes. Cycles has raised $8.7M, has a live points flow, and now lets users join the beta through web and mobile. No token, claim page, snapshot, or reward amount has been announced yet, so treat this as an early watchlist grind, not a guaranteed airdrop

| Our Verdict | Worth doing if you like early infrastructure projects and low-cost beta tasks. |
|---|---|
| Airdrop Confirmed? | No. Points are live, but token rewards are TBA. |
| Best Angle | Join early, activate points, complete beta tasks, add contacts, and keep real activity. |
| Main Risk | Points may never convert into a token. TGE means token generation event, or the day a token first goes live. Cycles has not announced one. |
| Who Should Skip? | Anyone who does not want to sign in, download an app, or share basic beta activity data. |
| Category | Score | Why We Scored It This Way |
|---|---|---|
| Funding & Backers | 8.5/10 | $8.7M total funding and known crypto investors make this stronger than a random points app. |
| Airdrop Signal | 6.5/10 | Points and referrals are useful signals, but no token reward has been confirmed. |
| Task Difficulty | 8/10 | The starter tasks are simple: sign in, open points, add a contact, download the app, and finish available tasks. |
| Cost Safety | 8/10 | Basic beta farming should not need deposits. We would avoid moving funds just for a possible airdrop. |
| Time Efficiency | 7.5/10 | Our grind test puts the first pass at around 10–20 minutes, with most friction coming from app setup and contact steps. |
| Overall | 7.7/10 | Good early radar play. Not a guaranteed reward. |
What is Cycles Pay?
Cycles Pay is a private stablecoin payments app built by Cycles for sending, receiving, and earning yield on crypto payments. A stablecoin is a crypto token designed to track a steady value, often $1. The app is built for both people and businesses, with private transactions, crypto and fiat payment support, and yield features. The official site says Cycles Pay beta is live and that early users can earn points by shaping the product.
Cycles itself is building an open clearing protocol. In plain English, clearing means reducing how much money needs to move by matching what people or firms owe each other. Cycles says its network uses zero-knowledge proofs and trusted execution environments. Zero-knowledge proofs are a privacy tool that can prove something is true without showing all the private details. Founder verification: Ethan Buchman is publicly named as Co-founder and CEO of Cycles, and Tomaž Fleischman is publicly listed as Co-founder and Principal Scientist.
Our Experience Joining Cycles Pay
The AirdropBuzz Team tested the public beta entry flow and reviewed the live product pages. The sign-up path opens the Cycles Pay beta page and shows a web app plus mobile app setup. The beta page says users first sign in or sign up through the web app, then download the Cycles mobile app, which stores encryption keys. Encryption keys are like private locks that help protect account data.
Our grind test covered six core actions: open beta, sign in, open Points, activate tasks, add a contact, and install the mobile app. The flow felt light, but the mobile step adds real friction. That is not a bad thing. It may help filter out low-effort bots if Cycles later checks real activity.
Time vs Reward: Is Cycles Points Worth It?
Cycles Points are worth a small early grind, but not worth spending money on. Points are not a token. They are an activity tracker inside the beta. The official Cycles Pay page says early users can earn points by shaping the product, but it does not say points will convert into tokens.
- Time needed: 10–20 minutes for the first pass.
- Task count: Around 6 starter actions from the current beta checklist.
- Friction: Medium-light. Google login, app download, and contact setup are the main blockers.
- Network speed: No on-chain transaction was needed for the basic beta entry flow we reviewed.
- Fairness: Early users may have an edge, but token rules, snapshots, and allocations are TBA.
Snapshot means the project records user activity at a certain time. Cycles has not announced any snapshot. Do not spam fake activity. Real app usage usually ages better than button-click farming.
Risks & Things to Watch
The biggest risk is simple: the Cycles Pay airdrop is not confirmed. A points system can be used for feedback, growth, access, reputation, rewards, or nothing at all. DYOR means do your own research before trusting any campaign.
Watch for fake links. We verified the official Telegram group from the Cycles Pay sign-up page, but we could not verify an official Discord from Cycles-owned pages. If someone sends a “Cycles claim” link right now, treat it as suspicious. The Telegram page describes itself as the official community group for cycles.money.
- No confirmed token: Token name, ticker, TGE, claim date, and allocation are TBA.
- No confirmed reward rate: Do not assume points equal money.
- Privacy tradeoff: Google login, app install, and activity tracking may not suit every user.
- Yield risk: Do not deposit funds only for an airdrop. Yield products carry smart contract, market, and platform risk.
- Region rules: Public region restrictions are TBA. Check the app before using payment features.
If Cycles announces a claim later, the likely flow would be account login, points check, eligibility check, and a claim page. That is only a reasonable guess based on common airdrop flows. The real claim process is TBA until Cycles posts it through official channels.
