Retium has opened its Public Testnet, giving early users a simple way to build on-chain activity before the network gets busier. Eligible Cadet Role holders can create a Retium wallet, claim test RTM from the faucet, make transfers, stake, unstake, and repeat these actions. There is no confirmed Retium airdrop allocation yet, so treat this as early testnet farming rather than guaranteed rewards. The good part is that the main activities currently use free test tokens.
This airdrop guide was reviewed by the AirdropBuzz research team, who have completed dozens of Solana and DeFi airdrops.

| Our Verdict | Worth testing while participation is still early, but rewards are not guaranteed. |
|---|---|
| Airdrop Status | Unconfirmed — future user rewards are TBA. |
| Entry Cost | $0 for the current testnet flow. |
| Best Strategy | Claim, transfer, stake, unstake, and return regularly instead of doing everything once. |
| Who Should Try It? | Users comfortable testing an early Layer-1 network and completing Discord verification. |
| Test Area | Score | What We Found |
|---|---|---|
| Entry Cost | 9/10 | The core testnet flow uses faucet RTM instead of real funds. |
| Setup Ease | 6/10 | Discord, X, quiz, Telegram, and Cadet requirements add some friction. |
| Daily Farming | 8/10 | Once setup is finished, claiming and repeating transactions should only take a few minutes. |
| Early Opportunity | 8/10 | The public testnet is still in its opening phase. |
| Reward Certainty | 3/10 | No official future airdrop amount, allocation, snapshot, or eligibility formula has been announced. |
| Overall | 6.8/10 | Good low-cost testnet farming, but do it for early activity rather than promised rewards. |
What is Retium?
Retium is a Layer-1 blockchain built around a multi-dimensional mathematical network instead of a standard linear chain. The project says its architecture uses prime-number logic and a Proof of Math consensus design to process activity across a mesh-like structure. In simple terms, Retium is trying to build its blockchain differently from networks where transactions move through one long line of blocks.
RTM is the native coin used for transfers, fees, staking, smart contract activity, and other actions across the Retium network. Retium lists a fixed supply of 1 billion RTM for the planned network economy.
The Retium Foundation publicly identifies Alexey Zubok as the founder. Nikita Alekseev is listed as Chief Technology Officer, alongside other legal, finance, marketing, and advisory contributors. This gives users more public team information than many early testnet projects provide.
Is the Retium airdrop confirmed?
No official Retium airdrop for testnet users has been confirmed. We have not seen a published allocation, snapshot date, points conversion rate, claim date, or guaranteed reward for completing Public Testnet transactions.
That does not make the testnet pointless. Early network usage may become useful if Retium decides to reward testers later. The safer approach is simple: complete the free activities, stay active, and avoid spending money just because someone promises a future RTM reward.
Current reward status: TBA.
Our Experience Joining Retium
The main challenge with Retium is not sending a transaction. It is getting through the community requirements first. The current onboarding path includes creating a wallet, saving the private key, connecting Discord, getting the required role, linking X, completing an eight-question quiz, linking Telegram, and then accessing the faucet.
A private key is basically the master password to your wallet. Anyone who gets it can control that wallet. Never paste it into Discord, Telegram, Google Forms, DMs, or random websites.
Our grind check counts roughly 10–12 setup actions before a new user reaches the repeatable farming stage. Once that setup is finished, the actual daily routine is much shorter: claim RTM when available, make a transfer, stake some RTM, unstake, and check for new test features.
How to qualify for the Retium testnet faucet
Faucet access is tied to Retium's Discord community requirements. You need to connect Discord to the wallet and hold the required Cadet Role before claiming test RTM.
If you are starting from zero, complete the role process before spending time refreshing the faucet. Retium uses this gate to reduce bot accounts and faucet abuse.
How to get the Retium Cadet Role
- Join the official Retium Discord at discord.gg/retium.
- Open the #check-my-rank section.
- Work toward the required X Follower Role.
- Follow @RetiumChain on X.
- Use the /link command in Discord.
- Connect and verify your X account.
- Publish or submit the requested verification post when prompted.
Discord commands and role rules can change while the testnet develops. Always check the pinned instructions before completing the process.
Retium Public Testnet Airdrop Guide: Farm RTM Early FAQ
Is the Retium airdrop confirmed?
No. Retium has launched its Public Testnet, but no guaranteed testnet airdrop allocation, snapshot, claim date, or reward formula has been announced. Any future reward is TBA.
How much RTM can I claim from the Retium faucet?
The current testnet flow allows eligible Cadet Role holders to claim 5 test RTM, with another faucet claim available after the 24-hour cooldown.
What Discord role do I need for the Retium faucet?
You need at least the Cadet Role. Users may need to complete X verification, the Discord quiz, Telegram verification, and other community steps before receiving the role.
Where can I send my daily Retium testnet transaction?
You can send a small amount of test RTM to another Retium wallet. For this guide, the public test transaction address is reteeb8375393f9e2. Keep enough RTM for staking and other testnet actions.
Does testnet RTM have real value?
Testnet RTM should be treated as testing currency, not real money. Do not buy test RTM from strangers or assume your test balance will convert into mainnet RTM later.
