MetaMask’s official account described the item as an open-edition soulbound collectible for MetaMask users. Franky the Frog also described the Fox Plushy as an open-edition collectible available only to MetaMask wallet users.
A soulbound token, or SBT, is a non-transferable NFT. That means the asset is linked to a wallet and is not meant to be sold or moved like a normal NFT.
The collectible appears inside MetaMask Rewards, the wallet’s official loyalty program. MetaMask says Rewards is built into its self-custodial wallet and gives users access to benefits through MetaMask Mobile.
