Cero is getting closer to launch, and there is already a simple way to put your name on the early-access list. You can sign up with an email, reserve a unique Cero handle, and share that handle on X. The whole flow is light and does not currently need crypto or an on-chain transaction. The catch? There is no confirmed Cero airdrop or token reward, so treat this as an early-access play rather than guaranteed free crypto.
This airdrop guide was reviewed by the AirdropBuzz research team, who have completed dozens of Solana and DeFi airdrops.

What is Cero?
Cero is a fintech app and card platform built around stablecoin-powered spending, rewards, and access to credit. The platform describes itself as a financial technology company rather than a bank. Its planned product includes a Cero card, account funding with crypto or traditional payment methods, weekly reward features, and a Cero Score that can grow through financial activity.
The Cero Score is designed to look at signals such as card spending, cash held, connected accounts, and on-chain wallet activity. “On-chain” simply means activity recorded on a blockchain. Cero says a higher score can help users grow toward access to credit.
Markuss “MJ” Jonans is publicly identified as a founder of Cero. We could not verify a clear current CEO title from reliable public profiles, so we will not guess. Cero operates through Cero Global Ltd, while financial services are expected to depend on licensed partners and local availability.
Our Experience Joining
The AirdropBuzz Team reviewed the live Cero signup page and compared it with the steps posted by the official Cero account. The current grind is about as light as early-user campaigns get: sign up, choose a handle, and share it.
For transparency, we reviewed the live flow but did not submit a personal email during this editorial check. We are therefore treating this as a verified flow review rather than claiming a completed personal enrollment.
Our grind test found three main tasks, no required wallet transaction, no bridging, and no repeated daily work. Bridging means moving crypto from one blockchain to another. You do not need to do that for the current Cero handle task.
The most useful part is the handle reservation. Unique usernames can become harder to grab as more users join, so anyone who wants a short or recognizable Cero handle has a reason to check early. Sharing on X is also part of Cero's published signup flow.
Time vs Reward: Is Cero Early Access Worth It?
For time spent, the current Cero early access task looks reasonable. We estimate around 2–5 minutes for the full flow. There are three simple actions and no blockchain transaction fee, often called a gas fee, in the published signup steps.
| Task Count | 3 main actions |
|---|---|
| Time Needed | About 2–5 minutes |
| Crypto Needed | None for the current signup |
| Network Transactions | None listed |
| Confirmed Reward | Cero handle reservation and early-access positioning |
| Token Reward | TBA |
The weak point is reward certainty. There is currently no confirmed Cero token, token generation event, snapshot, allocation, or airdrop. Joining early may become useful later, but there is no promise that claiming a handle will lead to crypto rewards.
For a free task that takes a few minutes, we think the time risk is small. Just do not spend money or take extra financial risk based on a possible future airdrop.
Is the Cero Airdrop Confirmed?
No. A Cero airdrop is not confirmed.
The current campaign is an early-access and handle-claim campaign. Cero has not announced a token reward for users who reserve a handle. There is also no confirmed snapshot date, token allocation, claim date, or token launch timeline.
If Cero adds points, quests, referrals, or other reward mechanics later, we will judge those separately. For now, the confirmed action is getting on the early-access list.
How to Qualify for Cero Early Access
The current requirements are simple. Users need an email account and a unique handle that has not already been taken. Cero also asks users to share their handle on X as part of the published flow.
No crypto wallet or specific blockchain is required for the current handle registration. That could change when the full product opens, especially because Cero plans features connected to crypto and on-chain wallets.
Product availability may also depend on location. Cero says services can vary by jurisdiction, and the project has promoted early access for Mexico. Wider country eligibility has not been fully detailed, so check the live signup page before expecting access to the final card or financial services.
How Much Does Cero Early Access Cost?
The current Cero handle claim appears free. The listed signup steps do not require you to deposit crypto, pay a fee, swap tokens, or make an on-chain transaction.
This is a good line to keep in mind: claiming a handle should not require sending crypto to another person. If you see a random account asking for payment to “activate” your Cero handle, stop and verify the request through Cero's official website and X account.
Risks & Things to Watch
- No confirmed airdrop: Do not assume a Cero handle guarantees tokens.
- Fake links: Early-access campaigns attract copycat sites. Check the domain before entering your email or other data.
- Future data requests: The waitlist is simple, but financial products may later require identity checks or connected financial accounts.
- Regional limits: Card, credit, and account features may not be available in every country.
- Impersonator accounts: We could verify the official Cero X account, but we did not find public official Telegram or Discord community links. Be careful with groups claiming to be official.
- Unknown token plans: Tokenomics, snapshot rules, allocations, TGE timing, and claim rules are all TBA.
DYOR — do your own research. In simple terms, check official sources yourself before giving an app money, wallet access, or sensitive personal information.

No. Cero has not confirmed a token airdrop. The current opportunity is to reserve a Cero handle and join the early-access flow. Token rewards, allocations, and snapshots are TBA.
How do I claim a Cero handle?
Sign up through the Cero website with your email, choose an available unique handle, and follow the prompt to share it on X.
Do I need a crypto wallet for Cero early access?
