Hey rewards more than posting often. You can collect HP by publishing through Social Payment, joining conversations, earning creator revenue and making eligible referrals. But this is not a free-click airdrop: paid actions use GHO, premium membership has its own cost, and points do not promise a token payout. Our guide separates three things that are easy to mix up: HP, direct GHO earnings and the monthly rewards competition.
Reviewed by The AirdropBuzz Team on October 19, 2026. We checked the live leaderboard, October rewards, referral conditions and Social Payment fee tables.
Is the Hey airdrop confirmed?
| Question | Our verdict |
|---|---|
| Can you earn Hey Points now? | Yes. The live HP leaderboard lists earning methods and updates hourly. |
| Are GHO rewards available? | Hey lists an October competition for the top 10 eligible active Premium members, subject to review. Social Payment author earnings are a separate route. |
| Does HP guarantee a $HEY allocation? | No. Hey says HP will be a factor in future airdrops. No verified conversion rate, individual allocation, snapshot or token claim date was established in this review. |
| Is participation free? | Not for the paid actions that earn interaction HP. Budget for Social Payment fees, gas and any optional Premium plan. |
| Is there an overall end date? | No overall HP closing date was verified. Read each monthly competition separately. |
What is Hey?
Hey is a decentralized social media app built on Lens where people publish posts, join communities and support creators through small GHO payments. SocialFi means social networking with on-chain payments or rewards. On-chain means the activity is recorded on a blockchain rather than only inside a company's database.
The platform has a global feed and community feeds, including Crypto. Its Social Payment system charges for posts, comments, reposts and quotes. An author can receive part of the fees other people pay to interact with their original post. That creator income is different from the HP points shown on the leaderboard.
Hey is an app in the Lens ecosystem, not the Lens protocol itself. We could not independently verify the current operating team's founder or CEO identity for this review, so we do not attribute the app to Lens' founders. A public code repository is historical and does not by itself verify the current production team or rewards contracts.
What is HP and how do you earn it on Hey?
HP stands for Hey Points. It measures qualifying activity and contributions on Hey; it is not the same as a spendable GHO balance. These are the base earning rates shown on the live leaderboard:
| Qualifying activity | Base HP | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Social Payment earnings | 1 HP per 0.01 GHO earned | This refers to earnings, not GHO you deposit or spend. |
| Publish a Social Payment post | 2 HP per qualifying post | A normal paid post has a GHO fee and separate network gas. |
| Comment, repost or quote through Social Payment | 1 HP per qualifying action | Free likes are not listed as an HP earning method. |
| Successful eligible referral | 5 HP | The referred user must complete onboarding and their first paid comment, repost or quote. Each new user can trigger this once; no self-referrals. |
| Active Ultra membership | Advertised 2x HP benefit | Check the live plan and reward rules for the exact components that receive a boost. Do not assume every bonus stacks. |
The HP leaderboard says points are added every hour. A completed action may not appear instantly. If an expected update is missing, check the transaction and wait for the hourly refresh before spending again.
Who can earn Hey referral points?
The dedicated referral page says active Basic, Pro and Ultra members can earn referral HP. This is broader than the older Ultra-only description still used in parts of the monthly rewards text. A signup alone is not enough: the invited person must finish onboarding and make their first paid comment, repost or quote.
The October page refers to Ultra referrals while also saying its ranking uses all HP earned during the month. Because the wording is not fully aligned, do not assume a particular referral or multiplier counts toward a monthly prize until it appears under the current rules. Check your all-time HP and the separate monthly ranking.
How do Hey monthly GHO rewards work?
For October 2026, Hey lists a competition running from October 1 through October 31 in UTC. It ranks the top 10 eligible active Basic, Pro and Ultra members by HP earned during that window. Hey says a final manual review checks for manipulation. Paying for membership does not secure a prize.
| October rank | Listed GHO reward |
|---|---|
| 1 | 50 GHO |
| 2 | 35 GHO |
| 3 | 25 GHO |
| 4 | 20 GHO |
| 5 | 17 GHO |
| 6 | 16 GHO |
| 7 | 14 GHO |
| 8 | 12 GHO |
| 9 | 11 GHO |
| 10 | 10 GHO |
These listed October prizes total 210 GHO. They are a competition schedule, not proof of completed payouts or an offer to every participant. Review the current Hey User Rewards page for changes. September and October have separate tabs. Future monthly campaigns, pools and continued distributions should not be treated as guaranteed.
How much does it cost to earn Hey Points?
The Social Payment page currently lists 0.09 native GHO for a new post, comment, repost or quote, before network gas. Native GHO is the gas currency on Lens Chain, chain ID 232. Holding GHO on a different network does not automatically fund a Lens transaction.
Creator earnings depend on the feed and who takes the action. The published global-feed table allocates 0.045 GHO to the original author for a paid comment, repost or quote. The community-feed table lists 0.03 GHO for the original author and 0.03 GHO for the group owner. A new post itself does not pay an author share. Self-interactions still cost money and send that author share to the treasury.
Premium membership, any account setup charges and bridging can add costs. Bridging means moving assets between networks. Check the current quote and wallet confirmation rather than treating these examples as an all-in budget. Never buy a plan or spend GHO assuming a future token allocation will repay it.
Our Experience Joining Hey
We reviewed Hey through the existing AirdropBuzz account and checked the public HP and rewards pages. The account has an active Ultra badge and a working referral link. Our technical checks also confirmed access to the Crypto community feed. This establishes that the account and reviewed pages are accessible; it does not prove a new user's eligibility or a successful reward claim.
We did not complete a fresh-user signup, buy a new plan, test a token claim or measure a paid earning session for this guide. We also do not treat a posting simulation as proof of a completed post or payout.
| Review check | Result |
|---|---|
| Live HP rules | Verified on the official leaderboard. |
| Current monthly conditions | October dates, Premium eligibility, prize table and manual-review note checked. |
| Cost clarity | 0.09 GHO per paid action before gas; plan and bridging costs are separate. |
| Hands-on reward claim | Not tested. No payout success score assigned. |
| Future token details | HP relevance is stated; allocation, conversion and claim timing remain unverified. |
Time vs Reward: Is Hey Points Farming Worth It?
There is no measured grind-test session behind this draft, so we cannot honestly promise an hourly earning rate. A simple planning example is one qualifying post and three qualifying comments: the base rules give 5 HP before any applicable multiplier, at 0.36 GHO in Social Payment fees plus gas. This is arithmetic from the published rates, not a tested earning result.
Receiving creator earnings requires other people to choose to interact with your content. Referrals depend on real new users completing the paid action. Neither outcome is under your control. If you already want to publish useful posts on Hey, points may be a side benefit. Paying repeatedly only to climb a leaderboard can cost more than any eventual reward.
Risks and Things to Watch Before Joining Hey
- No guaranteed token reward: No verified HP-to-HEY rate, individual allocation, snapshot or token claim opening was established here. TGE means token generation event; its date is TBA in this guide.
- Costs are real: Social Payment fees, gas and optional plan charges can exceed any earnings. An Ultra multiplier is not a return guarantee.
- Monthly prizes are competitive: October rewards are limited to eligible top-ranked members and remain subject to manual review.
- Check changing rules: Referral wording differs between official pages. Read the current campaign and plan terms before paying.
- Eligibility is not assumed: We did not verify a complete country list, numeric minimum age or universal KYC exemption. Confirm the current terms for your situation.
- Protect your wallet: Reject seed-phrase requests and surprise approvals. Paid actions require clear fee confirmation; do not sign an unrelated token allowance to check points.
- Avoid spam and self-boosting: Self-referrals are prohibited. Artificial activity may fail the final review, and self-interactions do not return the usual author share.

Hey Airdrop FAQ
What is HP on Hey?
HP means Hey Points. The leaderboard awards points for qualifying Social Payment earnings, paid posts, paid comments, reposts, quotes and eligible referrals. HP is separate from GHO and has no verified token conversion rate in this guide.
How do you earn Hey Points?
The base rules list 1 HP per 0.01 GHO in Social Payment earnings, 2 HP per qualifying paid post, 1 HP per qualifying paid comment, repost or quote, and 5 HP per successful eligible referral. Hey advertises a 2x HP benefit for active Ultra members. Points update hourly.
Is the Hey airdrop free and guaranteed?
No. The paid social actions listed for HP currently cost 0.09 GHO each before gas, and Premium has a separate price. Hey says HP matters for future airdrops, but this review did not verify an allocation, conversion rate or token claim date. Neither a token payout nor profit is guaranteed.
When does the Hey points program end?
No overall HP end date was verified. The October 2026 GHO competition covers October 1 through October 31 in UTC. That window is not an end date for Hey or the whole points program, and later monthly rewards depend on new official terms.
Who can receive October Hey GHO rewards?
The official October page lists the top 10 eligible active Basic, Pro and Ultra members ranked by HP earned during October, subject to final manual review. This monthly competition is separate from direct Social Payment earnings and any future HEY token distribution.
