Starknet is running a limited-supply strkBTC faucet with a very low-effort entry process. You sign in with X, connect a supported Starknet wallet such as Xverse, and register for the weekly draw. Selected users can receive real strkBTC, with later rounds offering amounts of up to $100. The big catch is simple: $100 is the maximum, not a promised reward. Registration also does not mean you are guaranteed to receive anything.
| Question | AirdropBuzz Verdict |
|---|---|
| Is the Starknet strkBTC faucet real? | Yes. The faucet is hosted on an official Starknet domain and operated by the Starknet Foundation. |
| Is the $100 reward guaranteed? | No. Selected users may receive up to $100 in eligible rounds. Selection and reward size are not guaranteed. |
| Do more X followers guarantee more money? | No published rule says this. Followers can be part of the X eligibility check, but reward amounts are handled separately. |
| How much does it cost? | There is no payment required to enter the faucet. |
| Is it worth trying? | Yes, if you already use X and can set up Xverse. The time cost is low, but treat any reward as a bonus. |
| Test Area | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Trust | 9.5/10 | Official Starknet campaign and official Starknet domain. |
| Time Required | 9/10 | Only a few registration steps if your X account and wallet are ready. |
| Entry Cost | 10/10 | No payment is required to register. |
| Reward Certainty | 4/10 | Not every registered user is selected, and the reward size is not guaranteed. |
| Ease of Use | 8/10 | Simple registration, but winners must return later and complete more than one claim step. |
| Overall | 8.1/10 | Strong low-cost opportunity, but reward odds and amounts are not clear in advance. |
Testing note: The AirdropBuzz Team reviewed the live faucet page, registration flow, official rules, and supported wallet instructions. We did not complete a personal X authorization or receive a live payout during this review, so we are not claiming a successful reward that we did not receive.
What is the Starknet strkBTC Faucet?
The Starknet strkBTC Faucet is an official weekly campaign from the Starknet Foundation that lets eligible users enter a free draw for strkBTC. strkBTC is a Bitcoin-backed asset on Starknet with an optional private, or “shielded,” mode. Shielded simply means selected balance and transfer details can be hidden from normal public blockchain viewing.
The faucet is designed to give new users a small amount of strkBTC without asking them to buy it first. Users connect an X account and a compatible Starknet wallet. The campaign then checks eligibility and selects some registered accounts for rewards. Later weekly rounds can offer allocations worth up to $100, but there is no guaranteed payout.
Starknet's core technology was built by StarkWare. Starknet's own published material identifies Eli Ben-Sasson as StarkWare co-founder and CEO. Uri Kolodny is also a StarkWare co-founder. The faucet campaign itself is operated by the Starknet Foundation.
Our Experience Joining the Starknet strkBTC Faucet
The flow is much shorter than a normal points campaign. There are no long quest lists, daily check-ins, swaps, bridges, or trading requirements just to enter the weekly faucet draw.
Our dry-run found three main registration actions: open the faucet, sign in with X, and connect a Starknet wallet. Xverse is directly supported and is the wallet we would pick for this guide because it also supports strkBTC features. If you already have Xverse ready, the active registration work should take around two to five minutes. Creating a fresh wallet will add a few more minutes.
The main friction comes later. Registration is not the same as claiming. You need to return when claims open, check whether you were selected, and then follow the claim process. Winners first receive part of the reward publicly before completing the shielded part of the claim.
Time vs Reward: Is strkBTC Worth It?
For the amount of active work involved, this faucet has a good time-to-potential-reward setup. Registration has only a few steps and does not require you to deposit or trade crypto.
The reward side needs more context. Starknet says selected users in the first weekly round receive around $10 worth of strkBTC. From later rounds, amounts may reach up to $100. That does not mean every winner receives $100, and registration does not guarantee selection.
| Grind Test | What We Found |
|---|---|
| Registration tasks | About 3 core actions |
| Active registration time | About 2–5 minutes with an existing wallet |
| Extra visits | At least one return visit to check the draw and claim |
| Payment needed to enter | No |
| Reward certainty | Low — only selected accounts receive strkBTC |
| Maximum advertised amount | Up to $100 worth of strkBTC in later rounds |
| Fairness | Low-cost entry, but selection rules and X thresholds are partly hidden |
For us, that makes it worth a quick try. Spending a few minutes is very different from farming a campaign for weeks. Just do not plan around receiving $100.
Risks & Things to Watch
Does having more X followers increase your strkBTC reward?
Be careful with this claim. Starknet's terms say its automated X eligibility check can look at factors such as account standing, age, activity, and follower count. However, we found no published rule saying that having more followers directly gives you a larger strkBTC payout. The live faucet says selection and reward amounts can change between rounds.
So a stronger X account may help with eligibility, but “more followers = more dollars” should not be treated as a confirmed payout formula.
Do you really need to wait 7 days?
The current weekly faucet does not promise that every registration requires an exact seven-day wait. It tells users to return when claims open. Older faucet activity included a seven-day claim window, which is different from saying every new user must wait exactly seven days. Check the live faucet status rather than setting a fixed timer.
Is the Starknet strkBTC faucet confirmed?
Yes. This is an official Starknet Foundation faucet, not an unconfirmed token rumor. The important distinction is that it is a faucet campaign rather than a speculative future airdrop. The strkBTC being distributed already exists on Starknet.
Who is eligible for the strkBTC faucet?
You need an active X account that passes Starknet's automated eligibility check and a compatible Starknet wallet. Participation is limited to one claim per user, one X account, and one connected wallet. Sanctions and other compliance restrictions also apply. Exact X account thresholds are not publicly fixed and can change.
Watch for fake Starknet faucet links
Use strkbtc.starknet.io/faucet and double-check the address before connecting a wallet. A real wallet connection should never require you to send someone your recovery phrase or private key. Anyone asking for those details is trying to gain control of your wallet.
DYOR means “do your own research.” Read the current faucet terms before approving anything because campaign rules, available supply, and eligibility can change.
Enter the Official Starknet strkBTC Faucet
The weekly faucet takes only a few minutes to register for if your X account and Starknet wallet are ready. Remember: up to $100 is a maximum, not a guaranteed payout.

Starknet strkBTC Faucet FAQ
Is the Starknet strkBTC faucet real?
Yes. The strkBTC faucet is an official campaign operated by the Starknet Foundation and hosted on Starknet's official strkbtc.starknet.io domain.
Can I really get $100 in free strkBTC?
You can potentially receive up to $100 worth of strkBTC in eligible later rounds, but $100 is not guaranteed. Only selected users receive a reward, and individual amounts can vary.
Will more X followers give me more strkBTC?
There is no published payout formula that says more followers directly means a larger reward. Follower count can be one factor in Starknet's X eligibility check, along with account age, activity, and standing.
Do I need to wait seven days after registration?
Not as a fixed rule for the current weekly faucet. Register during the available window and return when claims open. Always follow the live countdown or status shown on the official faucet.
Do I need an Xverse wallet to claim strkBTC?
You need a compatible Starknet wallet. Xverse is officially supported and can manage strkBTC, including its privacy features. If you already use another wallet, check the current faucet before assuming it is supported.
