Kaito has launched its new Aura onboarding flow, and eligible users can now claim their starting Aura at no cost. The setup is simple: sign in with X, install the Kaito Pulse browser extension, then check and claim your Aura. The interesting part is that existing Yaps can help set your starting Aura. Still, there is one big warning: Kaito has not confirmed Aura as a new token airdrop or announced a Season 2 KAITO claim date. Treat that part as speculation for now.

What is Kaito AURA?
Kaito Aura is a new reputation and activity layer inside Kaito that gives users a starting Aura based on signals such as their existing Yaps and verified activity. Yaps are Kaito's points for measuring useful crypto attention and content activity on X. Think of them as a reputation score built from what you contribute rather than a normal token balance.
Aura arrives alongside Kaito Pulse, a browser extension described by Kaito as a social layer for the internet, starting with X. Pulse can help users view verified activity and add more context around creators, traders, profiles, and market discussions.
Kaito was founded by Yu Hu, who publicly lists himself as Kaito's Founder and CEO. His role is also supported by his public professional profile. Kaito has grown from a crypto AI search product into a wider attention-market platform covering creators, trading, rewards, staking, and social reputation.
Do not confuse Aura with the existing KAITO token. Kaito has not announced an AURA token, tokenomics, snapshot, allocation, or token generation event for this update.
Our Experience Joining Kaito AURA
The AirdropBuzz Team reviewed the current Aura onboarding path and the published Kaito Pulse setup before preparing this update. The basic grind is light: one X sign-in, one browser extension installation, and the Aura claim step. There is no listed onchain transaction in the basic flow, so network speed and gas fees are not major friction points at this stage.
The biggest step to review is the Pulse extension. The Chrome Web Store says Kaito Pulse handles user activity and website content as part of its features. Browser extensions can have wider access than a normal website, so read the permission screen before installing it. Only install Pulse from Kaito's official flow or the verified Chrome Web Store listing.
We are not assigning a made-up Aura amount to this test. Starting Aura can differ by account, Yaps history, creator activity, trading activity, and other signals Kaito may apply. Our 3–8 minute estimate is based on the short task count rather than a guaranteed completion time for every account.
Time vs Reward: Is Kaito AURA Worth It?
For a free task, the time-to-cost ratio looks good. You are mainly spending a few minutes setting up Pulse and connecting your X identity rather than paying gas or depositing funds.
The reward side is less clear. Aura is live, but Aura is not currently a confirmed token reward. Kaito has not announced how much an Aura point could be worth, whether Aura converts into KAITO, or whether it will qualify users for another airdrop.
That makes this more of a low-cost positioning task than a confirmed money-making claim. Users who already earned Yaps have a stronger reason to check because Kaito says Yaps can be used toward starting Aura.
Our grind test: three main setup actions, no basic onchain transaction, low network friction, but an extra browser permission step. For users already active on Kaito, the effort looks reasonable. For a brand-new account with no history, the possible reward is much harder to judge.
Is the Kaito Season 2 Airdrop Confirmed?
No. Kaito has not confirmed a new Season 2 KAITO airdrop tied to Aura.
The Aura launch has created fresh speculation because Kaito is now measuring and verifying another layer of user activity. That does not mean a token snapshot or claim is around the corner.
Kaito's previous KAITO airdrop claim is already over. The new Aura onboarding page is a separate product flow. There is currently no confirmed Season 2 snapshot date, allocation, eligibility formula, claim date, or reward amount.
Our approach is simple: claim the free Aura if you are comfortable with the setup, keep your account active if Kaito is useful to you, and wait for an official announcement before treating Season 2 as confirmed.
How to Qualify for the Kaito AURA Claim
The current public setup points to a few main signals:
- X account: You need to sign in through X for the Aura onboarding flow.
- Kaito Pulse: Install the official Pulse browser extension.
- Existing Yaps: Kaito says users can use their Yaps to claim starting Aura.
- Creator activity: Users may be able to verify creator history.
- Trading activity: Kaito also mentions verification of trading activity.
- Referrals: Inviting other users is part of the current Aura system.
The exact scoring formula is not fully public, so there is no safe shortcut that guarantees a high Aura score. Avoid buying accounts, fake engagement, or forcing activity just to chase points.
Risks & Things to Watch
- Aura is not a confirmed token: Do not attach a dollar value to your Aura score yet.
- Season 2 is speculation: No official Season 2 KAITO snapshot or claim date has been announced.
- Browser extension permissions: Read the Pulse permission request before installing it.
- Phishing links: Fake Kaito claim pages may appear after a major update. Check the domain before signing in.
- Different account results: Your starting Aura may not match screenshots shared by other users.
- Future requirements can change: Kaito may add new verification steps, activity rules, or eligibility checks.
- No guaranteed reward: Free farming can still cost your time and data access even when no crypto payment is required.
DYOR before connecting accounts, wallets, or extensions. Never approve a wallet transaction just because a social post says it is required for an airdrop.
