Predict.fun and Polymarket do not offer the same airdrop opportunity. Predict.fun has announced a 7% Season 1 PREDICT allocation, but its TGE and claims were postponed. Its Season 2 points are separate. Polymarket's checked official FAQ says no airdrop or token generation event has been announced. Its liquidity rewards and trading rebates are different from a future token.

Last verified: October 31, 2026. This comparison covers Predict.fun and international Polymarket.com, not the separate Polymarket US product. The AirdropBuzz Team reviewed public sources. We did not deposit, trade, connect a wallet or receive rewards for this comparison.

Predict.fun vs Polymarket: What Rewards Are Available?

Predict.fun: An Announced Allocation Is Not an Open Claim

Predict.fun's October 28 token article sets aside 70 million PREDICT for Season 1. That is 7% of its stated 1 billion supply. It describes two choices for eligible allocations: take 35% at an instant claim, or choose 100% subject to a 12-month vest. Vesting means access is restricted over time; it is not cash available today.

The later October 30 announcement postpones TGE and Season 1 claims alongside Binance Alpha and Spot trading. No new opening time was verified. The older October 30 schedule is not a current deadline.

The announced selection window runs from actual claim opening. A separate vest-to-instant switching window runs from TGE. Do not calculate either deadline from the superseded date. See our Predict.fun tokenomics and delayed-claim guide for the full context.

Polymarket: Platform Incentives, Not a Confirmed Token Drop

Polymarket's official token FAQ, dated June 24, 2026 and checked October 31, says no airdrop or TGE plans have been announced. That is the checked official position, not a promise that a token will never exist.

Its documented liquidity incentives and rebates reward particular market activity. pUSD, its USDC-backed collateral on Polygon, is not evidence of a future governance-token distribution. Our Polymarket rewards and airdrop-status guide explains that distinction.

    Can New Users Still Qualify?

Do not buy access to someone else's past eligibility. Predict.fun's final Season 1 results concern that completed points period. The live Season 2 page describes current activity, but does not establish that a new account can claim Season 1 tokens. A fixed Season 2 allocation or token-per-point rate was not verified.

At Polymarket, eligible new users can check current reward markets and their rules. That is different from qualifying for an unannounced token. No verified token snapshot or future airdrop formula was found in the checked official guidance.

First check your location, the terms and the programme rules. Polymarket's restriction page includes both blocked and close-only categories, with some locations appearing in more than one section. Do not interpret that overlap as permission to open positions; ask official support if your status is unclear. Predict.fun's current country list could not be verified because its terms were unavailable in this review. Do not treat a working sign-up button as approval.

    How Do Predict Points Work?

Predict Points, or PP, are an activity score used for Predict.fun's leaderboard. The current dashboard lists three routes:

    • Liquidity: fillable limit orders placed close to the market price.
    • Open interest: positions kept open, with position size and market mix contributing to PP.
    • Forecasts: qualifying prediction-market trading activity.

The page also warns that fake or spoof bids that cannot be accepted can result in PP being zeroed. It does not give a complete current calculation that lets us turn a deposit or trade into an exact number of PP. We will not invent one.

The October 29 Season 2 announcement also describes further PREDICT incentives. It says liquidity PP now counts both time that orders rest on the book and the value of maker orders that fill. That is a documented scoring change, not a published fixed pool or token-per-point rate.

PP are not the same thing as transferable PREDICT tokens. A higher points balance does not establish a fixed Season 2 payout. Nor does it mean a trading loss has been recovered. Yield on positions, where offered, is another separate mechanism; it does not prevent losses.

    How Do Polymarket Rewards Work?

    Liquidity Rewards for Resting Orders

A resting limit order waits on the order book for another trader. Under the liquidity reward rules, each rewarded market sets a minimum order size, maximum distance from the midpoint and reward pool. Orders compete for a share based on their qualifying scores. Two-sided quoting receives different treatment from one-sided quoting.

The public rewards dashboard helps identify reward markets. A displayed pool is shared, not paid in full to each user. The Help Center says a day's liquidity earnings must reach $1 to pay at around midnight UTC. Smaller daily amounts do not roll over. Orders can fill and create positions that lose value.

Maker and Taker Rebates Are Different

A maker adds an order that another trader later takes. Maker rebates depend on eligible liquidity that actually gets filled. Fee-free markets do not generate these fee-funded rebates. The docs state daily pUSD payments with a $1 minimum accrued rebate.

A taker accepts liquidity already on the book. The taker programme uses weighted volume over the previous 30 days. Trade size, entry price, category and applicable bonuses affect it. That tier system measures rebates, not future airdrop eligibility. A rebate offsets some cost; it cannot make an otherwise losing strategy profitable by itself.

    What Does Participation Actually Cost?

Both platforms involve real trading risk. Capital committed to a losing outcome can be lost. There may also be a spread between the best buy and sell prices, a worse fill than expected, network costs, bridge costs or third-party funding charges. Funds kept in positions cannot be used elsewhere.

Polymarket's fee docs distinguish makers from takers and set rates by market. They do not support saying that every trade is free. Predict.fun's current exact fee schedule and minimum deposit were not verified, so this article does not quote a fee or recommend a deposit amount.

A useful accounting rule is: net result = trading profit or loss + rewards actually received - costs not already included in that trading result. Keep unconverted points out of the cash-reward column. Do not count fees twice.

For example, a hypothetical $12 trading loss, $2 in extra costs and $3 in paid rewards leaves an $11 loss. Points with no verified redemption value do not close that gap. This is an illustration, not an AirdropBuzz test result.

Are Prediction Market Airdrops Worth Farming?

The AirdropBuzz Team would not generate extra volume just to chase an uncertain distribution. New users seeking no-spend tasks should not treat either platform as a free-token checklist. These programmes can expose capital to loss and require time to monitor.

Existing Predict.fun Season 1 users have a practical reason to track the revised claim announcement. Experienced, eligible Polymarket users may compare documented incentives with the cost of providing liquidity. Neither case requires assuming that rewards will exceed losses.

If current fees, location eligibility or security answers are missing, waiting is reasonable. You do not need an open position to follow an announcement.

Risks: Trading Losses, Fake Claims and Changing Rules

    • Security incidents: Predict.fun's October 27 disclosure reports about 400,000 USDT in unauthorized transfers and a suspected third-party API documentation compromise. It promises reimbursement and a post-mortem. Completion of either was not verified here. A reimbursement promise is not a security all-clear.
    • Execution and resolution: limit orders may fill partly, prices can move before an exit and event wording can affect settlement. Read the resolution rules, not just the headline.
    • Fake claims: unsolicited messages, lookalike domains and comment-section bonus links are not claim evidence. Never share a seed phrase or login code, or pay an unexplained fee to unlock an allocation.
    • Changed rules: reward pools, fee settings, season terms and access limits can change. An older screenshot does not override a later official notice.
    • Abuse and access: do not wash trade, use fake bids, create accounts to evade checks or bypass location blocks.

Use the AirdropBuzz safety checklist and our guide to checking wallet eligibility safely before following a claim prompt. A third-party checker cannot create eligibility.

A Practical Plan Before You Commit Funds

    1. Record whether you are tracking an old allocation, current points or a paid incentive.
    2. Check the official rules for your location and the exact market or season.
    3. Write down fees, possible losses and time required. Leave unpriced points at an unknown value.
    4. Set a date to recheck official announcements. Do not assume a claim is live because a trading page loads.

Track the Evidence Before the Trade

Build your comparison checklist in the Airdrop Task Planner. Add the two guide links, source-check dates and cost limits. The planner saves tasks in your browser and supports export; it does not monitor wallets or guarantee rewards.

    Prediction Market Airdrop FAQs

Is the Predict.fun Season 1 airdrop confirmed?

The project announced a 70 million PREDICT allocation and two claim choices. Its later October 30 notice postponed TGE and claims. An allocation is confirmed as an announcement; a live claim or personal entitlement was not verified.

Does Polymarket have a confirmed token airdrop?

The official token FAQ checked October 31 says no airdrop or TGE plans have been announced. Current liquidity rewards and rebates do not establish a future token allocation.

Can I join Predict.fun now and claim Season 1?

Joining now does not establish Season 1 eligibility. Current Season 2 points and final Season 1 results are separate. Check the official account-specific result and revised claim terms.

Do Predict Points have a fixed token value?

No fixed Season 2 PP-to-token rate was verified. Treat PP as points, not a transferable token or cash balance.

Can Polymarket liquidity rewards cover trading losses?

There is no guarantee. Orders may fill and lose money, and your share of incentives can change. Compare payments actually received with losses and all costs.

Can users in restricted countries participate through a VPN?

No. Do not bypass location restrictions. Polymarket.com prohibits this, and its US product has separate rules. Predict.fun's full current country list was not verified; confirm eligibility before funding.
