DataHive is one of the cleaner AI + DePIN airdrop farms on our watchlist because the setup is simple, the points system is already live, and the project has a real product angle. DePIN means “decentralized physical infrastructure network.” In plain English, users help run part of a network with their devices and may earn rewards for it. The catch? The DATA token claim is still TBA, so this is a points farm, not a guaranteed payout.
This airdrop guide was reviewed by the AirdropBuzz research team, who have completed dozens of Solana and DeFi airdrops.

| Our Verdict | Worth a light farm if you are already farming AI or DePIN airdrops. Do not treat points as guaranteed money. |
|---|---|
| Best For | Users who are okay running a browser extension or Android app in the background. |
| Skip If | You do not like data-collection apps, browser extensions, or uncertain points programs. |
| Main Upside | Simple passive points farming, referral rewards, mobile app support, and optional SOL staking boosts. |
| Main Risk | The DATA claim date, allocation, snapshot rules, and token value are still TBA. |
| Test Area | Score | AirdropBuzz Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Setup Ease | 8/10 | The path is simple: sign up, install the extension, keep it active, and track points. |
| Cost | 8/10 | Basic farming is free. SOL staking adds real market risk, so we treat it as optional. |
| Transparency | 6/10 | Points are visible, but final token rules, snapshot, and claim details are still TBA. |
| Privacy Comfort | 6/10 | The project says it avoids private data, but users still need to be comfortable with app and extension permissions. |
| Grind Fairness | 7/10 | Passive earning is friendly, but referrals and staking can give heavy users an edge. |
| Overall | 7/10 | A solid watchlist farm. Keep it small, track your points, and avoid overcommitting funds. |
What is DataHive?
DataHive is a DePIN data network that lets users help collect and label web, image, video, and audio data for AI model training. The idea is simple: AI companies need fresh, high-quality data, while normal users have devices that can help collect and review that data. DataHive turns that into a points system where users can earn Data Points and Hive Points by running the browser extension, using the mobile app, completing missions, and referring others.
The project is tied to the Solana ecosystem through optional SOL staking and a planned DATA airdrop. Its public investor list includes names such as Alliance DAO, 6MV, Side Door Ventures, Wave GP, Solana Ventures, Nural Capital, Race Capital, DCF God, and Curved Ventures. Founder verification: Vol Pigrukh is publicly listed as Founder and CEO of DataHive, and Kos Chernysh appears as a founder/technical team member in public project records. Still, DataHive should add a full team page on its main site to make trust checks easier for new users.
Our Experience Joining DataHive
AirdropBuzz Team test status: We ran a light grind test on the public onboarding flow, official earn page, Chrome extension listing, Android app listing, referral program, SOL staking details, and community links. We are not marking this as a payout test because the DATA claim is not live yet.
The setup flow is beginner-friendly. You open DataHive, create an account, install the Chrome extension, and keep it online. The mobile app is also available for Android users. The main friction is not the setup. The real friction is time. Some rewards depend on uptime, and referrals need activity before they fully count.
We like that DataHive has more than one earning path: passive extension farming, mobile app farming, missions, referrals, and optional SOL staking. We do not like that the final token rules are still missing. That means users are farming points today without knowing the final conversion rate, claim window, or allocation size.
Time vs Reward: Is DATA Worth It?
For a free farm, DataHive is reasonable. The basic setup should take around 10–15 minutes. After that, the main work is keeping your extension or app online and checking the dashboard for new missions. Missions may take longer if they ask for audio, language review, surveys, or social tasks.
Our grind test view: the task count is light for basic users, the friction is low, and there is no daily wallet signing unless you choose to stake SOL. Network speed depends more on your device and browser than on blockchain activity. The fairness is mixed. Passive farmers can join with little effort, but referral builders and SOL stakers may gain more points.
DATA may be worth farming if you treat it like a low-cost lottery ticket. Do not buy SOL only for the airdrop unless you already understand staking risk. Airdrop points are not the same as tokens. Points are like arcade tickets. They may help later, but the prize shelf is still hidden.
Risks & Things to Watch
The DATA token claim is TBA. DataHive has points, missions, and airdrop language, but there is no public claim date, final allocation, tokenomics, or snapshot rule yet.
Extension and app permissions matter. DataHive says it focuses on public and anonymized data, but users should still review the Chrome extension and Android app permissions before installing.
Referral rewards can skew the leaderboard. The referral system rewards users across multiple levels. That is good for growth, but it can make it harder for solo farmers to compete with large creators.
SOL staking is optional, not required. Staking can boost points and earn normal Solana staking rewards, but SOL price can move, unstaking may take time, and validator risk is real.
No reward amount is promised. Do your own research, use a separate browser profile if you want extra separation, and never connect a wallet with funds unless you understand the action.

DataHive Airdrop FAQ
Is the DataHive airdrop confirmed?
DataHive has an active points system and official airdrop language around DATA, but the claim date, snapshot, tokenomics, and final reward amount are still TBA.
How do I qualify for the DataHive airdrop?
To improve your chances, create a DataHive account, install the official Chrome extension, keep it online, use the Android app if available in your region, complete missions, join community tasks, and track your points.
