Grass is still one of the easiest DePIN farms to start. You share unused internet bandwidth, keep the app online, and earn points. The big update is the blue diamond column in the dashboard. Those are Network Points, not Diamond Tier points. In this guide, The AirdropBuzz Team explains how Grass diamond network points work, what they may mean for Season 2, and why the TGE talk needs a reality check.

This airdrop guide was reviewed by the AirdropBuzz research team, who have completed dozens of Solana and DeFi airdrops.

Step-by-Step Carousel

Swipe through steps quickly: Step 1, Step 2, Step 3 and more.

Step 2
Create a Grass account with your email and password.
Step 3
Verify your email if Grass asks for it.
Step 4
Download the Grass app, extension, Android app, desktop app, or supported node option shown in your dashboard.
Step 5
Keep the app connected so your account can earn Uptime Points.
Step 6
Check the rewards dashboard for Uptime Points, blue diamond Network Points, referrals, and epoch history.
Step 7
Use a stable internet connection. Weak Wi-Fi can hurt your chance of earning Network Points.
Step 8
Add a Solana wallet only through official Grass pages when needed. Solana is the chain linked to GRASS reward flows.
Step 9
Watch official X and Discord for Season 2 claim rules, snapshot details, and future distribution updates.
Step 10
Avoid “urgent claim” links shared in random Telegram groups, DMs, YouTube comments, or fake support accounts.

Our Verdict Worth farming if you already have a stable device and internet. Do not buy hardware only for this.
Best For Users who want a low-touch DePIN airdrop farm with simple daily upkeep.
Skip If You dislike bandwidth sharing, long TBA timelines, or location-based point swings.
Main Metric to Watch Blue diamond Network Points, because they show real bandwidth usage.
Big Watch Item Season 2 claim rules, snapshot details, and future distribution timing.
Test Area Score Team Notes
Ease of Setup 8/10 Signup and app setup are simple. The main work is keeping the connection stable.
Cost to Farm 9/10 No token purchase is needed to start. Power and internet use are the real costs.
Point Clarity 7/10 Uptime Points and Network Points are now clearer, but token conversion is still TBA.
Reward Certainty 5/10 Grass has rewarded users before, but future Season 2 rates are not confirmed.
Safety 7/10 The official flow is clean. Fake claim links are the main risk.
Airdrop Potential 8/10 Grass already had Airdrop One, so continued farming has a real track record.

What is Grass?

Grass is a DePIN network that rewards users for sharing unused internet bandwidth to support public web data and AI use cases. DePIN means “decentralized physical infrastructure network.” In simple terms, users help run real internet infrastructure instead of one large company owning every piece of it.

Grass works in the background. You install the app, extension, Android app, desktop app, or supported node, then keep your device connected. Your contribution is tracked with Grass Points. These now split into Uptime Points and Network Points.

Uptime Points reward keeping your device online and active referrals. Network Points reward actual bandwidth use. That second part matters because the blue diamond points in the dashboard show when Grass really used your connection.

Founder verification: public founder proof points to Andrej Radonjic as a co-founder of Grass and co-founder/CEO of Wynd Labs, the team linked to Grass development. We do not see a fully public founder list for every contributor, so users should still DYOR, which means “do your own research.”

Our Experience Joining Grass

The AirdropBuzz Team reviewed the Grass join path from the official site, app flow, dashboard model, and referral page. The setup is light. It feels closer to setting up a background app than doing a normal quest campaign.

Our grind test had seven basic actions: open the join link, create an account, verify email, download the app or node option, keep it connected, check the rewards dashboard, and watch official channels for claim news. The full setup took about 10–20 minutes, depending on download speed and device checks.

Grass DePIN Airdrop Dashboard
Grass DePIN Airdrop Dashboard

The dashboard is easy to read once you understand the two point types. Uptime Points show that you stayed connected. Blue diamond Network Points show that your bandwidth was actually used. That is the key difference many farmers miss.

Grass diamond network points explained

Grass diamond network points are the blue diamond points shown in the Grass rewards dashboard. Officially, Grass calls them Network Points. Farmers call them diamonds because the dashboard uses a blue diamond icon beside the number.

diamond network points.webp
Diamond Network Points

These are not the same as Diamond Tier. Diamond Tier is a milestone or referral tier. Diamond network points are tied to real bandwidth usage. That means your device has to do more than sit online. Grass must route actual web data requests through your connection.

Grass says Network Points started from Epoch 11 of Stage 2. Each day, a fixed pool of 1,000,000 Network Points is shared across users. Your share depends on how much of your bandwidth was used compared with total network usage that day.

This is why diamond numbers can jump or drop hard between epochs. Your country, connection quality, device type, uptime, app type, and live network demand can all change the result. A user with fewer Uptime Points can still show stronger diamond Network Points if Grass uses their bandwidth more often.

Our take: diamond network points may matter more than old referral-style farming because they show real network use. Still, Grass has not confirmed a fixed conversion rate from diamond Network Points to GRASS tokens for Season 2, so treat them as a strong signal, not a guaranteed payout.

How to qualify for the Grass Season 2 airdrop

Grass Season 2 eligibility is not fully confirmed yet. Based on the current reward model, users should focus on clean account activity, strong uptime, and real bandwidth contribution.

Likely Helpful Action Why It Matters
Run Grass daily Keeps your account active and builds Uptime Points.
Keep a stable connection Grass is more likely to use reliable bandwidth for Network Points.
Track blue diamond points These show real network usage, not just being online.
Refer real users Active referrals can help Uptime Points, but fake referrals are weak.
Connect wallet only on official pages Claim rules may need a wallet, but fake links are common.

Nothing here guarantees tokens. The final snapshot, claim rules, region rules, and points-to-token rate are still TBA.

Grass TGE date speculation: what is confirmed?

TGE means Token Generation Event. It is the moment a token goes live or becomes claimable or tradable. For Grass, the first GRASS token event already happened with Airdrop One. So current “Grass TGE date” talk usually means the next Season 2 allocation, claim window, or reward distribution.

The safe answer is TBA. Grass has not confirmed a final Season 2 claim date, snapshot date, points-to-token formula, or token amount for diamond Network Points. Community chatter is watching the late Stage 2 epochs closely, but that is still speculation.

Diamond network points may be a key signal because they measure actual bandwidth usage. That said, Grass can still apply other factors, such as uptime, region rules, account quality, and official eligibility terms.

Do not trust posts that say the Season 2 claim is live unless the link comes from the official Grass site, Grass Foundation site, official X, or official Discord. A real airdrop should never ask for your private key or a payment to “unlock” tokens.

Time vs Reward: Are Grass diamond network points worth farming?

For our grind test, Grass looks like a low-effort, long-wait airdrop. Setup takes around 10–20 minutes. After that, the real job is keeping a stable device online and letting the network use your bandwidth.

The reward side is more complex now. Uptime Points show that your device stayed available. Diamond network points show that Grass actually used your connection. In our view, the blue diamond column is the metric serious farmers should watch closely during Season 2.

The hard part is that diamond network points are not fully under your control. You can improve uptime, use a stable device, avoid weak Wi-Fi, and run the recommended app. But Grass still chooses which connections get used based on demand and network needs.

If you already keep a laptop, desktop, or Android device online, Grass is worth farming. If you plan to buy extra devices only to chase diamond network points, the risk is much higher because the Season 2 token rate is still TBA.

Risks & Things to Watch

  • Points are not guaranteed money: Uptime Points and Network Points may help future rewards, but the final Season 2 formula is TBA.
  • Diamond points can be confusing: The blue diamond icon means Network Points. It is not the same as Diamond Tier.
  • TGE rumors are noisy: The first GRASS token event already happened. Current TGE talk is mostly about Season 2 timing.
  • Bandwidth sharing has tradeoffs: Only join if you are comfortable sharing unused internet through Grass.
  • Location matters: Some regions may see more bandwidth demand than others.
  • Region limits may apply: Sanctions, regulatory risk, and local rules can affect eligibility.
  • Fake claim links are common: Never enter a private key. Never send tokens to claim an airdrop.
  • Referral spam is weak: Real active users matter more than empty invites.

Teneo Season 1 is one of the cleaner DePIN-style airdrop grinds right now. DePIN means “decentralized physical infrastructure network,” or regular users running devices that help power a network. The setup is simple: run the Teneo Beacon app, earn Fragments, boost every 8 hours, and keep your node active. The catch? Final token claim details are still TBA, so this is a points-and-rewards grind, not a guaranteed payday.

Pi is not a normal “click once and claim” airdrop. It is a long-running mobile mining project where users earn PI over time, pass KYC, and migrate rewards to Mainnet. The recent distribution news is real: second migrations and KYC validator reward payouts started in 2026. Our take? Pi looks more solid than most free mining apps, but it still has real risks around price, unlocks, migration delays, and user expectations.

Base App Passive Income: Earn USDC Rewards With Less Risk

DeFi

Base App is one of the easier crypto apps to explain. You hold USDC, check if your account can earn rewards, and let the app handle the payout rules. USDC is a stablecoin, which means it tries to stay close to $1. That makes it less wild than meme coins, but it is still crypto. The AirdropBuzz Team reviewed the earning paths, reward docs, invite flow, and risk points so you can decide before adding funds.
